You will learn various Polynesian songs and dances. Kumu will place students in the appropriate class for their skill level.

Basic Hawaiian Language Class
We are privileged to have Hui O Hanohano teach a basic Hawaiian Language & Culture class to our KMA students. This is a closed class, you cannot enroll. We will send out notices when spaces become available.

What are the ages for each class?We place students in a class mostly based on their skill level, but there's an average range of ages for each class: Puamelia 1 & 2 - Ages 5-8 Tamatoa - Ages 5-11 Pakalana - Ages 9-15 Puakenikeni - Ages 16-25 Pikake - Ages 26+

What do I wear to class?For Wahine we ask that you have a Pa'u skirt and a Pareu/Lava. For Kane we ask that the have a Pareu/Lava. Also, all our students recieve a KMA t-shirt upon registration and that must be worn to all classes and rehearsals.

How much does it cost?Dance - $50 per month *There are family discounts available and discounts for those who take both classes.
